Faith #1: Digital Exclusive Edition by Dave Sharpe, Tom Brennan, Marguerite Sauvage, Francis Portela, Andrew Dalhouse, Jody Houser

3.0

Good start to a series. I like Faith's cheery but still a little bit sarcastic personality, and I'm relieved thar she hasn't been characterized as obnoxiously jolly with a chip on her shoulder like too many paranormal fantasy heroines. Faith's personality is probably a minefield to characterize, because she's big, and everyone (except the characters in the issue) is talking about it. I commend the writer for making her seem like a a person!

I also enjoyed the humor in the book, which pokes fun at itself and its readers by making references to comic book tropes.
