I was excited for the second book of this series as it’s not a genre I typically read but the first one was a fun, fast read.
Bliss definitely delivered in the fun department. It’s a lighthearted read without much consequence. The plot is light and steam is the main focus. I enjoyed the first few chapters that built up to the main storyline but felt like there was redundancy in Harlowe’s reflection/viewpoint without much challenge. The writing is strong and the storytelling is consistent.
