Full review to come but here's a quickie-

The beginning of this book is extremely promising. Fluid language and the use of metaphors make this book emotionally deep and intense. The issues discussed in this book often made me very uncomfortable, perhaps because they were directly derived from reality (I have heard this book is loosely based on the author's own life). The relationships in this book were messy and complicated, not too different from how they are in real life. I feel that there was a lot of potential in this book, both story-wise and character-wise but somehow it fell short. I have a lot of issues with the ending of this book. Absolutely not a fan of the ending.
