Incredibly necessary book. It goes so much deeper than the regular societal perception and knowledge of race and discrimination in medicine and highlights the stories of individuals, cases, and movements that are crucial to understanding the justified iatrophobia and climate today. Very well researched and detailed book with many notes and a comprehensive bibliography at the end
Graphic: Medical trauma
Moderate: Racism and Slavery
