(I didn't like it but easy to breeze through!)

At first, I thought it was yet another case of "I loved the first book I read from the author (How to Fail at Flirting) so much and nothing will ever compare" yet upon further thought, I just didn't have anything to like about this book.

Mainly, there wasn't any depth to anything be it the characters, the romance, or the plot/development. The premise of the story was interesting but RJ and Lear didn't really stand out and didn't have any chemistry for me. The plot was a constant loop between enemies with benefits trope (the spicy scenes were bland and cringe too) and miscommunication. I was bored for most of it and only the short-length chapters were the encouragement for me to continue.

Overall, everything is average. It's easy to breeze through, good for passing the time.
