Listen. The atmosphere of this book was top notch. Beginning of fall, cabin in the woods.... But ultimately there were too many wrong turns/rabbit trails/red herrings on the way to a reveal that I HATED. Finished the book before bed and woke up thinking about this, still upset! This was like peeling off those annoying banana strings and then the banana within is mushy! (Yes I had a banana with breakfast.) I have been advised that book 6 should be consumed posthaste and addresses some of the issues here. So, onto book 6. But I'm annoyed, Louise!! I'm annoyed.
