Disclaimer: I’m not a big fan of MC romance books, and I know I’m very picky about the genre, so my opinion may not be the one worth reading or listening to.

I liked the synopsis of the book, so I borrowed it from Kindle Unlimited. I got into the story very quickly, but it soon felt like a soufflé: it rises, it rises, and poof, it collapses just as quickly.

I liked Addison. It’s hard to build yourself up when you feel the need to prove to one or both of your parents that you’re capable of succeeding, and I honestly don’t know how she managed to keep in touch with her father, because I’d have run away as soon as I could, but hey 🤷🏻‍♀️
As for Crow, he didn’t make much of an impression on me, to be honest, so I don’t have much to say about him.

At the moment I don’t know if I’ll give the series a second chance by reading Journey. I guess we’ll see.
