Brilliant book incredibly far ahead of it's time
The marriage of Plato's republic & christianity formed to create an incredibly egalitarian republic. More suggested using old tools to fix new problems with an reliance on the futile system. In many ways it was communism with money.
The views on happiness are still relevant today & it's almost scary to see how similar thought almost 400yrs ago was to now, showing the universal questions humans are confronted with. Such as what is the best way to run a society and why run it this way?
More documented a view of both slaves and women far far ahead of his time & had a bottom up approach to working a republic with the family and family connections playing an incredibly large role
