Loathe to Love You by Ali Hazelwood

2.0

All of these stories were pretty cute, although I didn't really love them. The first novella, Under One Roof had a borderline non-consentual scene in it that made the story very uncomfortable and awkward.

Stuck With You was an interesting twist, but the storyline was fairly clunky, even considering it being a novella length.

And Below Zero seemed the most relatable and light hearted of all of them, but it also didn't make much sense in terms of organic progressions of relationships.

Overall, Ali Hazelwood spends all her time writing about these behemoth men that tower over these teeny tiny, 4'10" female MC and I think it would be nice to add in a little bit more variety within the stories.

I did enjoy that the three stories were moderately attached, considering Mara, Sadie and Hannah were all best friends, that was a cute touch. Ali always does a really good job of creating these well-rounded, smart, and generally fun female leads. I also appreciated the soccer references and the JPL/NASA vibes. Let's just mix it up a little more next time, Ali!
