Giant Days, Vol. 1 by John Allison

3.0

This was a cute, easy read. I've been picking up graphic novels from other people's suggestions, and this was one of them. I was able to read this over my lunch break, so that was nice.

I am glad that I read this, even though I was not impressed. Now I won't be wondering what I am missing. Overall, not my favorite in a graphic novel. The art was nice and each character had their own personalities as well as differing appearances. However, they weren't really rememberable. Their actions were exaggerated, which brought some humor to the situations, but nothing was ever funny. Nothing in this novel encouraged me to keep reading; there was no grab to keep my attention. The plot seemed to go no where, and the story line seemed kind of thrown together.

I probably won't be moving on to more volumes of this graphic novel, unless some whim catches me in the future.
