Desperation, by Stephen King

3.0

3-3.5

It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t amazing. But it was entertaining enough and didn’t drag. It surprisingly didn’t have that excessive amount of King-esque character development where you get 400 pages of no action and 1-200 pages at the end of everything happening at once. It had a nice flow.

I usually don’t love a ton of religious themes, and while I thought there was a little much of it at times (strictly personal preference), it wasn’t too overwhelming.

Lots of gore and action.
