How I'll Kill You by Ren DeStefano

dark mysterious tense medium-paced

4.0

I was really impressed by the author's ability to convey the ride or die loyalty between the sisters, despite how irrational it may seem to outsiders. It's a dynamic usually born of trauma/abandonment and Ren absolutely nailed it. Same with the way the main character Sissy would latch onto the smallest details about other's behavior and create huge maladaptive daydreams out of them.

If you enjoy dark media like May, Dexter, American Psycho, etc, give this book a shot. If you liked this book, "Kill For Love" by Laura Picklesimer is similar.
