3.75 stars because something tells me that this would’ve been my favorite book if I had read it when I was 13-19 years old. Kind of gives off Skulduggery Pleasant vibes. I liked it but probably won’t read the rest of the series. It’s a lot of “this chunk of the book is dedicated to getting to know this character and then they get dropped off.” Which the characters are all very engaging but I don’t want to have to read another two books to see them again for a just few scenes. All in all had a fun time with this one though!
