3.5 stars. And it certainly had nothing to do with the "engaging storyline".
Honestly, nothing really happens in this book. It has a significant amount of pages as well.
The main reason I finished the book and gave it this many stars despite the lack of things happening was the characters and their development.
I loved the heroine; she was strong, independent, but still had a softer, more nurturing side.
The other characters were very easy to love.
There was also a love triangle- mixed feelings about that....
