Group: How One Therapist and a Circle of Strangers Saved My Life by Christie Tate

challenging emotional funny hopeful inspiring reflective fast-paced

4.75

I really really really like this book. It reads like a fictional book at times you forget it’s non-fiction. It offers a unique perspective of someone’s POV while enduring the challenges of going through therapy and attempting to better their life. While reading Tate’s journey, you find yourself reflecting on similar experiences and wanting to join Rosen’s wacky group. While unconventional at times, you eventually see what therapy and hard work get you. I don’t say this a lot but I would reread this book and recommend to anyone feeling lost in their 20s.
