24 Hours in Ancient Rome: A Day in the Life of the People Who Lived There by Philip Matyszak

funny informative lighthearted reflective medium-paced

Love that even in the ancient times girls were still calling other girls sluts and whore. There were some fun little tidbits in this book like the fact that bakers didn't know what yeast was yet, or to clean clothes people used pee. But mostly it's just fun to see that ancient people are literally just like us now. I think this probably would have read better with a psychical copy cause there is a lot of pov switches but other than that no complaints.
