Egipcjanin Sinuhe, tom 1 by Mika Waltari

5.0

First volume of life of Egyptian medic Sinuhe who was inspired by Father to become medic.

After meeting his love as a child he became known as "the one that is alone". Her name was Nefer, here its beautiful, pleasant, and good, could mean zero or ground floor .

Ka-Nefer-Nefer (fl. 13th century BCE) was an ancient Egyptian noblewoman who lived during the Nineteenth Dynasty. She is known in modern times for her funerary mask, which is in the possession of the Saint Louis Art Museum.

Although he was banished and in Syria he saved king there who has tooth toothache.

Still where he was banished people worshiped Baal,
who was also called the Lord of Rain and Dew, the two forms of moisture that were indispensable for fertile soil in Canaan.

Apparently considered him a fertility deity and one of the most important gods in the pantheon.
They used slave for plenty of sex and did that way to often.

Its in time of bronze era and later I presume that in next volume, last one, we find out that he came back to Egypt with iron to give. And spread iron age.

There is also drama movie from '54 that is screening of these books. Titled "The Egyptian".
