Feminism is for Everybody by bell hooks

informative inspiring reflective relaxing fast-paced

5.0

Another book that i think everyone should read at least once in their lives. Hooks tackles the history of feminism, brings up so many important points about feminism, debunks common myths that most people who critisize feminism believe in just a 100-ish page book.

Because the book is so short i would recommend it to people who are new to feminism (?) or who want to learn more about it since this book is such a great starting point, but if you are expecting a book that has a deep dive in feminism then this book probably isn’t for you. And yes, i do believe that this book is incredibly informative but i think it was mainly made for people looking for an introduction into feminism.

I wish i could annotate and highlight every single important part of this book so i can quote her words in future conversations where this topic is brought up. I’m definately giving this a reread once i get my hands on my own copy.

Im still kind of unsure whether i consider this a 4/5 star read or somewhere in between so i might change my rating later.
