Finally some closure. Everything tied up so beautifully - so why not do this in the first series? Why an epilogue under a slightly different title? There's probably an intentional reason, but it's not obvious to me.

The only piece of the ending that was a little "meh" for me was the identity of the friend. I wish I could go back to some key points of the story and read them over again to decide how I felt about the reveal, but those books are back at the library now and I'm not that motivated.

Overall it was very well done and most of my frustrations melted away by the end of the epilogue volumes. I'd recommend this to people looking for a mind-bender story and an exploration into what it means to be a hero.
