100th read of the year!!

First of all, I don't remember who recommended this book to me or if I recommended it to myself based on someone's post πŸ˜‚ but the MMC in this book is legitimately the most UNHINGED love interest I've ever met 😭😭. And that's saying a lot considering the variety of books I read! If I ever met someone like him in real life, an alias and secret life would hate to see me coming, the way I would sprint away from this man πŸ˜‚πŸ˜β—οΈ

In this story, we meet Ocean, who is a certifiable madman, that thinks he's "just a little bit off, but not crazy", and Myomi, the Pr Agent he falls in love with.  After Myomi gets his attention trying to sign him to her agency but turns him down romantically, Ocean decides that she is the  woman of his heart and he will do literally anything to have her in his life. Ocean then sets out on a mission to help her understand his vision for their future that she must either come to terms with, by fire or by force! The destination was already decided. How she got there was entirely up to her.

We also meet the side characters Travie and Kinley, who are the respective best friends of the MCs, and follow along with their love story. I have to say that I really enjoyed Kinley and Travie, and I wished I felt like I had gotten to know the MCs a bit more closely. While I love a good stalker romance, I still wanted more romance from the main couple. I wish I had experienced a more intimate level of their connection outside of the sex (all the spicy scenes in this novel were hitting on 10🌢🌢🌢🌢🌢).

This book made me laugh out loud numerous times but it also raised my blood pressure with all the advice I was giving the characters, trying to get them to see the red flags and to find a therapists for their clear issues! I think my biggest issue with this book was how uncouth Ocean seemed to be. His psychopathic behavior had me in shock with my mouth open, but also laughing my ass off. I just couldn't get with his unmmanerly behavior, the his especially rude and disrespectful comments to the women.
