Leah on the Offbeat, by Becky Albertalli

3.0

The book definitely made me laugh so that's a plus. Apart from that, it's not really for me. If you've read 'Simon vs. the Homo Sapiens Agenda' and want to know more about the characters you can read it, but it's not a must. It feels very much like fan fiction to me.

I didn't really like Leah and found her very tiring at times. Abby on the other hand is portrayed as absolutely perfect (even though she claims she isn't). Simon and Bram are cute (but don't feature enough :(). And there are a bit too many pop culture references for my taste.
