Holly by Stephen King

4.0

Stephen King knows how to engage you and keep you reading even if what he is telling is gruesome. I really enjoy Holly as a character and this instance has been great.
Here it's not important who the killers are, you learn that in almost the first scene but why and how and King gets all nuanced building believeable characters that you can not relate, because what they do is so wrong but at least you can see their logic. The story is a complex sociological examination of the time of the pandemic in America and it doesn't look very pretty.
