Did not finish book.

I got the e-galley of this book as part of the promotion for the sequel. The premise of the story was really interesting enough for me to check it out.

Sadly, I barely got to the middle of the book. The story started okay though, it was really interesting and catchy, but as the story progressed, it became really flat and boring. The writing style was okay but it wasn't enough to keep me hooked.

Despite that, I've seen people rate this book high so I guess it was just a matter of reading the right book for the right reader.
