The Death Code by Lindsay Cummings

1.0

I literally read this one week ago and I've already forgotten most of the storyline, because this book is that forgettable. I seriously question the legitimacy of some of these 5 star reviews, because this book was not good by any stretch of the imagination.

It's just as oddly written as the first one, like it's an outline of a novel with none of the detail and dialogue of an actual novel. The chapters are too short, it's full of instalove with zero chemistry, the world is generic and yet super confusing, and there's just no compelling narrative to The Death Code.

The only blessing is that it barely took me 2 hours to read.
