Thank you again to Mrs Bette Lee Crosby for this wonderful story! This is Book 1 in the Wyattsville Series and I’m exited to start book 2 soon!
I knew this read would be good because, Mrs Bette’s writing is just That GOOD! She knows how to hook you right from the get go and this story was no different.
Ethan Allen is just an 11 year old boy with a loud set of parents who do nothing but argue, his Mama, Susanna (a real character) always talking about going to New York and his Daddy, Benjamin, a controlling man who just wants the farm life. Poor Ethan caught in the middle with his dog, named “Dog” tends to spend his tile behind the house in some sort of lean to built solely by himself. We also meet his Grandma, Olivia and learn about his Grandpa, Charlie.
This story will open your heart and make your grateful for your crazy life. I thoroughly enjoyed it and highly recommend it.
