This should be a required companion for anyone who reads/watches Into The Wild. It humanizes the Chris McCandless story and adds so much important context it's staggering. A must read with a ton of heart and thought provoking stories, reflections, and sentiments. Carine's honesty and insight is so appreciated as someone already touched by her brother's story. This will be one of my favorite books I read this year.
Graphic: Child abuse, Domestic abuse, Emotional abuse, Sexual assault, and Gaslighting
Moderate: Alcoholism, Drug abuse, Misogyny, and Physical abuse
