The novel misleads the reader several times, it seems unsure of the story it’s telling, but that’s only because the book is aiming at the frustrations lying in the storytelling and its main character and narrator. It’s ultimately a book about aging and slowly losing the whole world that surrounds you and that once gave meaning to your life.
