I don't usually read cowboy romances but I read one every now and then. This is a solid, enjoyable romance with likeable characters and an interesting premise.
The first half, I felt slightly put off by the FMC because she was using the MMC while it was apparent he was really into the FMC. The FMC denying her attraction to him, while also using the MMC, while also appearing to still have feelings for her ex, was just too much at points. Despite this, however, I still rooted for this couple and enjoyed their story.
