The Lights on Knockbridge Lane by Roan Parrish

3.0

THE LIGHTS ON KNOCKBRIDGE LANE was a very cute Christmas romance about two neighbors falling in love and finding family. Adam has recently moved back to Garnet Run with his adopted daughter Gus and he soon finds himself entangled with the strange, reptile and spider loving, Wes.

I liked both of these guys and especially enjoyed Adam's relationship with his daughter. He never stifles her inquisitiveness and curiosity and he constantly ensures that she knows she's loved no matter what. Kids in romance books can be hit or miss but Parrish has written Gus's character really well. There was a lot of sweetness and tenderness in this book, whether it's between family, friends, or lovers. I enjoyed seeing some of the series' previous couples and I hope there will be more books to come.
