This was fun, an homage to superheroes and their stories, which are complicated and messy and not always filled with noble intentions. A reporter needs a big story to keep his job, and opens up a big ol' can of worms while investigating the death of a superhero. Things escalate quickly, and pretty soon, the world is in danger of being destroyed. Will evil win, or will good triumph in the end? Along the way to finding out, we get lots of action, some waxing poetic about the wonders of superheroes, murder, betrayal, and redemption, all with some dynamic, gorgeous art. I won't say this was deep, but it was definitely a good time!
