So, okay. The feelings for this book are hard to describe.
Let's start with the good things:
- very cool concept for the world
- I liked the writing!
- I liked Thia for the most part
- I love Res!
Cons:
- the Stakes did not feel heavy enough for most of the story, as if weight was missing
- I don't know if I like the direction of the romance subplot is going
I like the book and I think I will read the second one... But I have strangely complicated feelings for this one XD
