House of Bane and Blood is a fantasy romance with dark themes. The two main characters are from powerful opposing families. It is told in duel point of view from the perspective of Camilla and Nicolai.

Camilla is the MFC and she is no damsel in distress. She is tough as nails and incredibly resourceful. She would do anything her brothers ask her to do, even if it means sacrificing herself. Camilla finds herself unsure of who to trust, and where the lies began.

Nicolai is the MMC and he always gets what he wants. He’s not afraid to get his hands dirty, and he is on a path to revenge. When he meets Camilla he simply must have her, but she will not be taken so easily.

The plot of House of Bane and Blood is thrilling, and ever changing and kept me guessing every moment. There’s a whole lot of fantasy, dipped in dark romance. The world building was incredible and had many unique aspects. The character building was immaculate. This is a very fast paced book and I loved every second of it.
