Memories of My Melancholy Whores by Gabriel García Márquez

3.0

Quick and easy read. The prose is buttery delicious. The story however is not so great. More like, memories of my pining for a little girl as an incel septuagenarian. Pedophilic. Tries hard to get readers to feel sorry for him, but falls short, especially because of the tangents in the story. Not interested in the office politics, and there's not enough about the "whore".
