Charming cozy mystery. Poppy is preoccupied with solving mysteries (her own and others) in this one making her seem a bit distant from the other bakers and her own bakes. Well done by the author to make us feel how the distractions both impact Poppy’s baking and relationships with other people. I do hope for a return to connection in the next book though. Overall a good quick read.
