Shards of Glass by Michelle Sagara

Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

I didn't realize it was a part of a larger series. I don't understand the plot despite the authors attempts to explain it. Also, the book is dragging real hard. Over halfway through and we just moved to the next day. I also don't care much for the formatting and frequently have a difficult time identifying who is speaking.
