The Island of Dr. Moreau by H.G. Wells
4.0
I actually read the "Oxford World's Classics" edition, and I mention that because I liked the introduction by Darryl Jones over various other introductions.
Very interesting book (I read it to prepare for "The Daughter of Doctor Moreau" by Silvia Moreno-Garcia), and moved nicely. Will be looking at others of his - had been aware of, of course, but not actually read any in the past.
