The Last Runaway by Tracy Chevalier

4.0

Really a 3 and 1/2, but I rounded up because I mostly enjoyed this! The quilting and sewing were pretty appealing to me, and I really liked the comparisons - the culture shock! - between England and Ohio. I hated the character of Donovan and couldn't see why Honor was so drawn to him. (Except it was lust, right? For such a placid person, Honor is very driven by lust, moreso than almost anything else. And also, ew.) Also, Honor Bright is such a very terrible name - give me a break! I enjoyed reading it and it went quickly, but it was not her strongest work.
