Player Piano by Kurt Vonnegut

4.0

Very clearly one of Vonnegut's early novels, but still brilliant. Interestingly enough, I think it follows 1984 and Brave New World's themes, but in a more realistic and relatable way. Unlike most of Vonnegut's later novels, Player Piano is much more simplified and focused. He focuses on one story line and keeps his themes and points straightforward. His prose is still classically Vonnegut, though.
