Witches, demons, corruption over corruption, secrets, suspense, big emotions AND murder mystery? - Sign me the fuck up. 

 

I am ready for book two.

The writing style is absolutely beautiful and the story had me hooked before I even reached chapter five. 

Given the murder mystery the story is supposed to give off a dark vibe, but Kerri Maniscalco’s writing still manages it to give off such a scenically calm, cosy and comfortable atmosphere, I don’t even know how to describe it…
