Her One Mistake by Heidi Perks

5.0

I knew I was getting into a book about a little girl going missing, which is suspenseful enough as it is. I didn't realize as I was reading along that I was slowly being dropped into an even bigger story where fears are exposed, secrets are revealed, and truths are buried.

The two main characters, Charlotte and Harriet, have great depth - they are both flawed and love hard in their own ways. Their thoughts and emotions feel real and are easy to connect with. There were times when I had to concentrate when the timeline jumped back and forth, but I did really enjoy getting to witness the points of view of both women.

I won't go into much more detail because you really need to go into this book spoiler free. This is a great page turner I'd recommend to those who enjoy psychological thrillers.
