Seven Minutes in Heaven by Eloisa James

2.0

I was so excited to see Eugenia and Teddy all grown up, but this story was not it.

Part A. The main antagonist is a person that was DEAD in previous installments of the series. You can’t just rewrite the history YOU WROTE like that.

Part 2. Teddy/Ward was so blinded by status (that he swears he doesn’t care about btw) that he refused to see the good thing right in front of him! She literally TELLS him she’s a lady, and pulled a Meredith “pick me, choose me, love me” before ultimately walking away. He was SO shitty to Eugenia. And then it wasn’t until he found out that her dad was a marquess that he “realized” he was in love with her. Not for HER but for what she and her connections could do for him🙄 LITERALLY that was his first thought when he heard Otis announce her parentage. Eugenia deserved better.
