The Secret Barrister: Stories of the Law and How It's Broken by The Secret Barrister

3.0

If you’ve ever suspected that barristers look down their noses at ordinary folk : you’re right, they do. Although the Secret Barrister sneers at council tenants and their ‘disorganised lives’, s/he does have some very compelling and important things to say about the shortcomings in the English justice system. This is a worthwhile book – I just wish the relentless class stereotyping had been left out.
