It’s hard to say that I enjoyed this thriller, not because it wasn’t a well-written book, but because reading about various forms of assault was heart-breaking! It definitely drew me in, especially when connections started being formed; the ending really threw me for a loop! I also personally liked that it was set in Atlanta and had a lot of medical content.
For the most part I liked the narration, but some of the accents were strange. The descriptions of the crimes were also very graphic, sometimes too graphic in my opinion. Overall, this book was thought-provoking and good for those who want a deep, psychological read! (This book is #11 in the Will Trent series, but it can be read as a standalone book.)
