After Dead: What Came Next in the World of Sookie Stackhouse by Charlaine Harris
2.0
To be completely honest, I'm not sure why this was ever published...this could easily have been an add-on to the last in the series! I read this in just under an hour as there are really only a few sentences/paragraphs on each page. I couldn't remember who some of the characters detailed were either!
Mostly Harris takes a paragraph or so to tell us if the characters had children and usually how they died...pretty unnecessary for the most part. I liked reading that Alcide had had a happy life as I feel he was treated pretty poorly in the later books to make room for Sookie's romances with Quinn and Eric.
Overall, I would recommend skipping this one, unless you are DYING to know how Jane Bodehouse died (on the toilet if you MUST know :P). It doesn't add anything to the enjoyment of the series or the characters, and I was quite content with the overall ending of the last in the series. If you MUST read it, borrow it from the library (which I did) - it's not worth $20!!
