book so good you email your tattoo artist when it's over

right from the start, all the way to the end - i love Kaz to the stars and back, but the entire cast of characters was unforgettable. flawed and whole, individually and together. i tried reading Shadow and Bone a few years ago and couldn't get into the writing to save my life, but there's obvious growth between that book and this pair, and i know i'm a broken record, but the bastard of the barrel is everything. E V E R Y T H I N G.

it's been weeks, and i still miss them so much. biggest book hangover i've had since House of Leaves.
