To be fair, I probably shouldn’t have read this one first since there are two other installments (I hear amazing things about the first). But this happened to be on the shelf at my library, so I thought...why not?
There’s clearly a lot that’s happened that I don’t understand fully, but what I did catch onto was an alien invasion of Earth. The story was fascinating and though I didn’t get parts of it, I’ll just chalk it up to me being silly and starting with #3 instead of #1.
I loved the cover arts contained within this volume.
I may come back & rate this much higher once I do finally get around to reading the original! It’s really a 3.5 stars for me at the moment.
