A Doll's House by Henrik Ibsen
4.0
Read this today for the Drama section of my Literary Criticism class. I have to admit I grew to love Nora, and the ending of the novel really spoke to me. I'm sure plenty of people malign Nora, but I think she really came into her own, and I enjoyed her moment of self-actualization. (And anyone shaming her or her friend for "marrying into money" and "abandoning her marriage and kids", etc etc, clearly has no understanding of what life was like for women at the time, and how little choice they truly had.)
