It’s written in split point of view and features less gore but deals heavily with friendship, heartbreak, and grief. If you loved the first book, you may hate this because it has a vastly different vibe. However, I absolutely loved all the character introspection this book provided.
Graphic: Murder, Grief, Blood, Death, Torture, and Violence
Moderate: Racism and Injury/Injury detail
Minor: Racial slurs, Abandonment, and Slavery
