Luna has a need for someone else’s speed. She’s in a game where the boys have the toys and she’s trying to crack that ceiling. Cash is a man who knows how to celebrate. When he’s around Luna he always seems to have hoof and mouth disease. It makes for some very comical scenes.

This is a high octane and bumpy ride. If you like the Discovery Channel’s Street Outlaws, the Grand Prix, Indy or Nascar then you may just love this book. The story shows the men we put on pedestals are just like you and I. They just have a different profession. Plus, when we meet someone, we don’t know what their background is and what life was like before they enter our lives. We need to get to know someone – sometimes there’s something there and sometimes not.

It was fun to watch a relationship develop between our main characters. The author does it in a way where the scenes don’t get crowded and anything is drawn out. Everything moves smoothly. There are some things that were tough to read but that’s life and even though this is a work of fiction, their lives have to seem believable – anything less would have you rolling your eyes. The author had me smiling at the end with her surprise. It’s one I’ve never seen in a book before but I loved it. If you’ve never experienced this author’s work, this is a great place to start.

I was not compensated nor was I required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.
