This was a very interesting style of book. It's essentially a book of conversations that the main character has while traveling to Athens to teach a writing class. You learn a lot about how the people she encounters think and their lives. You don't, however, learn much at all about the woman traveling. She does add her insight into the conversations with others. I didn't love the book but it was a nice break from the normal style of books and there were a few insightful messages that I took away from it.
